Planning Caden's 2nd birthday...

I am so excited about Caden's birthday this year.

Since his birthday is in September
when pumpkin season starts,

I am going to use it to my advantage.

I am planning a "Barnyard Birthday."

I will have it at a pumpkin farm in Half Moon Bay.

The farms I am looking at has:

-petting zoo

-choo choo train rides

-pony rides

-jumpy house

-hay rides

-barn to have party

-pumpkins field to pick pumpkins

Catching up...

It has been a long time since I last posted.

We have been super busy. 

Caden is talking like crazy now. 

We try to decode what he is saying. 

What we can make out, is so cute and funny : )

Just tonight when we were putting together an animal puzzle,

I asked him what sound a bird makes. He says without hesitation, "tweet, tweet."

The voice is priceless!!

Here is what has been going on...

Grandma bought Caden his first sandbox.
He loved it! He played with his new sand castle toys
and the sand trucks.

Grandma has a huge blackberry bush that Caden loves
to pick off the berries and eat them.
You can tell he has eaten a few
when he has purple fingers and a purple mouth : )

Pucker up, butter cup!!

 Grandma Lil' and Papa were coming up for a visit,
so Caden helped me clean up the patio...

He is quite the helper.
He says, "I do it! I help."

Then "Gama" and Papa came up.
They played at the tot lot.
First, "Gama" and the slide...

Then Papa and the monkey bars...

On May 16th, Caden was blessed.
I was so happy to finally have it done.
Marc had Caden on his lap to receive the blessing.
I was surprised that Caden stayed still during the blessing.
It was great to have the family there at church together.
I just wish I would have taken more pictures : (

We love going to Daddy's hockey game.
Caden will chant, "Go Daddy go!!"

After the game, Daddy will skate over and say hi to Caden...


Mother's Day!!
Caden and I played while daddy made Brenner
for Mommy. He made the best waffles with strawberries and
chicken apple sausage...yum!
