Day trip with mommy...

 I am so behind in blogs. 

Late August I took Caden on a spare
of the moment trip up to North Bay Area. 

A day trip with Mommy : )

I had seen this beautiful place in a magazine 

and was so excited to see that it was just less 

than an hour away. 

The place is called Fort Baker. 

There are restaurants, a cooking school, lodging,

a yacht club and an exploration center for kids. 

It was so pretty!! 

I took tons of pics...

 I had fun taking pics of Caden...

We headed off to Muir woods after for
their yummy grilled cheese sandwich
and organic tomato soup.
It was amazing!!!

We saw two otters, a deer and butterflies on our walk.
I wasn't able to get any good pics of them.

On the way home, we saw Muir beach
and made a pit stop...

I almost stepped on this jelly fish...

We were only at the beach for 40 mins.

Caden and I had a blast! 

We played chase with the ocean, 

collected a few shells and 

took in the beautiful view.
