Already Monday...

Today, Caden and I ran errands.

We stopped at Lowes for some garden ideas.

I couldn't resist a picture moment on the lawn mower!!!

Later, we went for our late evening walk. 

 Caden wouldn't look at me, but I loved the pic.

This weekend was a little out of routine. 

Normally, Caden will go to
Daddy's house for the weekend.

Marc had some stuff to do for the Stanford Alumni, 

so Caden stayed with Mommy
for most of the weekend.

Marc did come over Friday to spend time with Caden.

Not much to report for the rest of the weekend.

Kids 2 Work Day...

Very busy day today...

First, we started with a long over due hair cut.

Before...

 After.

 He would not just smile : )

Then it was off to Marc's work. 

EBAY, hosted a Kids 2 Work Day.

We thought he would like the jumpy house...ummm, he didn't get the jumpy part.

He just laid there. He thought he would take a nap instead. 

Then we went to the puppet show...and waited...

and waited...

and finally...

three little pigs.

He was into the big bad wolf.

Then we went to the mini golf...

Daddy showed him how to putt.

Watch out Tiger!!!

Then we thought it would be cute to have Caden drawn by the caricature people...

Marc and I weren't sure who the picture was of, or why there is a monkey pinching his butt?

Ummm...yah...

So...we threw the creepy pedifile monkey picture away.

 It was fun watching how proud Daddy was of Caden.

Caden was very serious all day. He gets very quiet and observes everything.

After we got home Caden and I got dirty for Earth Day.

We planted daisies we got from EBAY and an onion.

We had a lot of fun today!!

Off to Grandma's house.

Tuesdays is Grandma's day...

Caden woke up saying,"Gamma."

Then he waited by the window for Grandma to arrive...

Then off to Grandma's to play...

Not much else today.

A few days past...

My computer has had issues the past few days. Here's what has been going on...

 Friday's play date with Kendall...

Kendall is so cute!! She is a fashionista!! 

Caden was a little rambunctious...he is such a boy!!
He was gentle with Kendall when she would cry. He would tell her it's okay : )

I was a little afraid he was going to be too rough with her.

Can't wait for the next play date!! 

On Sunday, Caden got to play with Uncle Maka Paka, (Mikey.)

Caden loves his Uncle Maka Paka!!! 

Mikey bought Caden a big red ball. We had lots of fun with it. 

I think Mikey and I had the most fun ; P

Monday, Mommy and Caden went to Target and Caden was so good that he got a bubble gun!!
He was so excited to see all the bubbles...

Caden is learning his ABC's.
To my amazement, when you sing the song and stop at any letter,
he will say that letter. He can also count to 10, with a little assistance.
He loves to sing Itsy Bitsy Spider.
Last night he put his finger up to his mouth and said, "ssstttt...qiet.(Ky-it)" lol.
tell him that when he is talking when he should be going to sleep. He is so cute!!

Cool tricks...cool tricks!!!

We started off today watching Yo Gabba Gabba.

This is Caden's cool trick...COOL TRICKS...COOL TRICKS!!

Then I made Caden Flax seed, multi grain blueberry pancakes, with yogurt and strawberries.

So yummy...so yummy!!

I have this amazing pan I bought at Williams Sonoma. I can bake the pancakes, instead of frying them.

It saves me time, so I can make 12 at a time.

Later, we went for a walk. He saw his first rolly polly!! He was so excited!!

And then Caden went on the "siiiidde" (slide.)

We have a tot lot in our apartment complex, which is nice for a quick get-a-way.

That was most of today.

Today we will be serving the Chef's special...

Caden loves to cook. He helps Grandma bake and Mommy and Daddy cook. We bought him a kitchen for Christmas and he loves it!! It makes boiling and frying noises when you put a pot, or pan on it. When I make breakfast, he will whisk eggs in his pan to imitate me cooking. This is the kitchen we bought for Caden:

Today, I moved his kitchen on the side of my kitchen, so he could feel involved when I am cooking. I reorganized my pantry to open up space at the bottom to put his pretend food. He had fun arranging his own pantry and cooking me a chicken meal : ) I am trying to teach him fruits and vegetables. He is catching on pretty fast.

After dinner, we watched America's Funniest Videos. He cracks up at the dogs and cats videos.

New Schedule...

I am still trying to get the hang of this blog stuff, so bare with me.

Nothing much today. Just went to the tot lot in my complex. Caden is starting to form his own sentences. He is growing up so fast. It is sad and exciting to watch him grow up.

I finally out finished my routine for Caden and I. I have been struggling with time management. I am trying to find time for me, to get things done and spending quality time with Caden. This is, of course, a flexible schedule. This is what I have come up with:

7am-Haley up, get ready for day
7:20-Read scriptures
8am-Caden up Cartoons & quiet play
8:30-Caden & Haley breakfast Clean up kitchen/make to do list for day
9am-Caden get ready for day If errands:9am-11:30
10:30-6oz milk and cereal bar Learning time:ABC,123,colors,shapes
12pm-Caden & Haley lunch Clean up kitchen/pick up living room
12:30-Story/nap (2 hr)* Haley freetime/ phone calls/computer stuff
After nap-Snack Haley work out
5:pm-Caden & Haley dinner Clean up kitchen/pick up living room
5:30-Caden outside play Park,walk
6:30-Caden bath
7pm-Caden dessert with 6oz milk
7:30-Caden bedtime ritual Brush teeth,watch show,prayer,bedtime story
8pm-Bedtime Cuddle time
9pm-Haley desert
10:30-Haley bath
11pm-Haley read/bedtime

* Sunday:
11am-Caden gets dropped off
11:15-Caden nap
12:30-Caden lunch
1pm-Leave for Church
1:30-4:30-Church

Hopefully it makes our day more productive, so I can stop falling behind on everything. We shall see..
